"Kunowice ([kunvits]; German: Kunersdorf) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Subice, within Subice County, Lubusz Voivodeship, in western Poland, near the Oder river and the German border. It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) east of Subice, 60 km (37 mi) south-west of Gorzów Wielkopolski, and 75 km (47 mi) north-west of Zielona Góra. Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (see Territorial changes of Poland after World War II). In 2008 the village had a population of 700."
